ANVE conducts training and information activities for young people. In this context, in memory of the work and actions of founding member Stefano Capitanio, the association announces its annual call for papers by young graduates of any Italian Agricultural Faculty. Prize money will be awarded to the best three-year and master theses judged by a special jury. Last call until 4may 2023.

The Prize
Dissertation Topic
The theses are to address perspectives on botany, agronomy, plant protection, landscaping, economics and legislation associated with the cultivation of Mediterranean ornamental outdoor plants, paying particular attention to such topics as plant diseases, plant protection, environmental sustainability of production processes, new trends, and variety selection.
Prize Amount
The € 3,000 prize will be distributed as follows:
• € 1,000 for the best three-year degree thesis;
• € 2,000 for the best master’s thesis.

The two prizes are always presented during the National Mediterranean Plant Nursery Day held in Monopoli. Graduates interested in participating and in learning the specifics of the call for papers may contact the ANVE Secretariat.
