A.I.B. All Insurance Broker Srl is a company founded in Pistoia in 1996, with the
aim of providing tailored insurance solutions for its clients. Over the years, AIB
has grown significantly, becoming a nationally relevant entity that invests in
human resources, know-how, and technology to better meet the needs of its
clients. In 2010, AIB introduced in Italy the first facilitated multi-risk insurance
policy for the protection of ornamental plant nurseries. This policy covers
damages caused by frost, freezing, drought, hail, excessive snow, excessive rain, flooding, strong winds, scirocco winds, and sunstroke. Every year, the policy is updated to incorporate new requirements arising from discussions with insured companies. In recent years, AIB has expanded coverage to include plant diseases, including bacterial diseases, viral diseases, Asian longhorn beetle, red palm weevil, and root rots. These policies comply with current regulations and can benefit from a contribution from the European Union of up to 70% of the total premium required by insurers.
AIB’s agriculture division (AGR-INS) provides comprehensive support to client companies. In addition to protecting potted or field plants with facilitated policies, they also offer coverage for installations, buildings, third-party liability, commercial credit, and more, addressing various risks associated with agricultural activities.
